| Gianquitti takes over as general manager of Bradley Square Mall
New to Cleveland, Gianquitti has been in marketing and managing for a total of 15 years. He describes himself as sociable, honest and nonjudgmental. Born and raised in Syracuse, N.Y., Gianquitti left New York state in l996. He moved to Michigan to oversee the marketing of a property in Trevor City. After three years, he moved to Naples, Fla., where he lived the last eight years. Gianquitti, 41, had worked for several companies and was working for Prime Retail, the owner of Bradley Square Mall, before accepting the position as Cleveland's newest general manager. His arrival to Cleveland has left an indelible impression on him. "I've had the opportunity to live in nine different cities and four states in my 15 years with the shopping center business," Gianquitti said.

Architects, designers and builders are letting their inner children run wild as they work to design original life-sized children's playhouses and garden structures to be auctioned off at Stanford Shopping Center's biennial Dreams Happen Playhouse Gala and Auction. Beginning May 5, the finished products will be displayed at Stanford Shopping Center and will be auctioned off June 2 to benefit Rebuilding Together Peninsula. "Dreams Happen is an important event for us and we're inspired by the incredible participation year after year of Stanford Shopping Center and our volunteers,'' Seana O'Shaughnessy, executive director at Rebuilding Together Peninsula, said. "The proceeds raised fund our efforts for up to two years and allow us to significantly impact the lives of low-income families on the Peninsula.'' The design teams have named their structures with tantalizing names like Waggy the Dog, Go'pher Gold Mine and Tahoe Trading Post, according to a statement from Rebuilding Together Peninsula.

Astronomers, amateur and lofty, will gather in Balboa Park to celebrate National Astronomy Day at the Reuben H. Fleet Space Theater and Science Center Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Astronomy tour guides will lead a "Walk through the Solar System" in Balboa Park, mapping out our solar system to scale. But be prepared to walk – Neptune is a long way from the sun! Rogers Man Wins Big
Mark Johnson was shopping for birthday party supplies for his son's first birthday at the Jug Store in Pineville, Mo., according to a news release from the Missouri Lottery.While at the store, Johnson bought two $10 Scratchers lottery tickets from the $250,000 Mega Cash game. One of the tickets was worth $10,000. The chances of receiving a $10,000 winning ticket are one in 60,000, said Susan Goedde with the Missouri Lottery Communications office.State and federal taxes are taken before the winner receives the winnings, Goedde said.The state of Missouri takes 4 percent of winnings for all tickets worth $600 or more. Federal taxes, which are 25 percent, are withheld for winning tickets of $5,000 and more."It made it a great birthday," Johnson said. "My son got a few extra gifts, too." .
